My recent stay at Farm House Residency was a mixed bag. The location is fantastic, reminiscent of Goa, perfect for soaking up the sun. The restaurant has a great vibe, and I enjoyed the included breakfast, which was commendable. The luxuries you might expect come at a hefty price point, and honestly, this feels like where the value significantly drops. I encountered frustratingly slow wi-fi and sporadic mobile network connectivity, which was disappointing for a modern hotel. On top of that, it's a strict no-smoking area, meaning I had to trek downstairs for a smoke. While I appreciated the availability of alcohol from the bar, the overall experience didn't give me the luxe feeling for the rates charged. For travelers seeking a balance of comfort and value, this place may force you to weigh location against those conveniences you're hoping for.
